Qualifications Euro Engineer, Chartered Institution (C.Eng.), Member of the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE). Member of the Institution of Electrical and Electronics Incorporated Engineering (MIEIE).

 

Career Summary Robert joined RHB in 1986 and has grown with the company becoming a Partner in 1990, changing to a Designated Member upon the change of company status. Bob is responsible for all aspects of electrical engineering.

He believes in a hands on method of management being closely involved in the projects undertaken by the Practice.

His experience is extensive having been working as a Professional Consulting Engineer for over 35 years, gaining a wealth of knowledge and experience in projects both within the UK and overseas.

 

Experience Varied experience on a wide range of services including HV/LV
transmission and distribution systems, standby power generation, uninterruptible power supply systems, lighting, power communication and fire alarm/detection systems together with vertical transportation systems.

Responsible for the design on many major projects including:

Computer Centre of Bank of America – 20,000m2

Headquarters Building for Provident Mutual Life Assurance Association - 25,000m2.

Aga Khan Hospital, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania - a new 200-bed ward unit, pathology unit, casualty and outpatients clinics for the Aga Khan Foundation.

Secure Office Building in Nairobi – 10,000m2.

A listed mansion refurbishment of 1000m2 for a Private Client at Lymington, Hampshire.

Conversion of a listed Abbey for Bewley Homes Plc into 33 luxury apartments, together with the construction of 20 new houses and 6 apartments, with 10 affordable apartments and 6 houses also forming part of the development.

A new build warehouse facility with adjoining 2 storey office areas for Greatworth Properties Ltd at Interpower Components, Milton Keynes.

Extension to an existing Junior School at Stanley, the Falkland Islands.

Refurbishment of a 5000m2 building at the Warburg Institute, comprising library, archives, office, lecture rooms and workshop for the University of London.

Refurbishment of main entrance area and formation of an Internet Café within a 3000m2 Technology Building for the University of Portsmouth, Anglesea Building.

Lecture room refurbishment for London Guildhall University.

A 6000m2 fit out for De La Rue Plc at Basingstoke, Hampshire.
